"Bertie Ferris" (Winniford 1969) 20" Early, Dormant 2 ½" bloom. Persimmon orange self. Reported to be one of the first daylilies to bloom. The small lovely flowers stay open late into the afternoon. Award-winning variety for edging or containers. In my garden it begins blooming very early June and only sporadically thereafter.
