"Chicago Cherry" (Marsh 1975) is a beautiful cherry red and blooms very well. It is sturdy, stands up well to hot summers, and increases well. 6½" bloom, 23" tall, Early-Mid Season, Semi-evergreen. "Chicago Cherry" has a faint midrib on the petals and a yellow throat. A robust plant and a good bloomer. In my garden it's bloom season is from mid June to almost mid July.
