hat night  when Jorlie finally went to sleep, she dreamed she could fly. In her dream it was a very natural thing for rabbits to fly clear up through the clouds.

where only the glow of the planets and flickering stars lit her way. Jorlie wasn't afraid even though it was very dark.

he came down through the clouds again and into the skies above the fields that surround her home. From up there, the ground looked like a patchwork quilt made of different shades of green cloth. Her world seemed both smaller and larger at the same time. It was a feeling Jorlie would not have been able to explain.
