All three colors of the Dutch Irises are blooming now in addition to the many bearded irises. Here is the blue and yellow Dutch varieties. I love them for their stately grace and the clarity of color. Below on the left is a little clump of chives. A larger clump has yet to bloom, but this one is in the sun, and so ahead of the others. I have a early variety of coreopsis, too. Most of my coreopsis are not even budding yet, and this dwarf variety is in full bloom now.
