My husband and I took a once in a lifetime trip to England back in 1996 and fell in love with the Cotswold area. We've been dreaming of a way to go back ever since. So in December of 2003, when he heard that the airlines were running a terrific one day special to London he immediately booked our flights. We had to complete our trip before mid April of 2004, which is earlier than most people visit, but we don’t like the crowds anyway. We enjoyed over 3 months of anticipation and planning for our return trip to England.

Now, granted, London has plenty of fascinating sights for tourists to see, but to my way of thinking, one big city is much like another big city, so we planned to spend the bulk of our time in the Cotswolds, which is about an hour and a half west of London.
