Welcome to page twenty-three of a journey through the year 2002 in my garden.
Fifth Week of May

L
ilies are budding everywhere, but most of them are still not blooming. Pictured on the right are the Asiatic lilies, "White Butterflies" in a bed with red yarrow in front of yellow yarrow.

Below is Lamb's Ear, and next to it is Lavender Cotton with their tiny yellow blossoms. The next row is a "White Lace" Asiatic lily, and purple Spirea in the front yard. I include the humble yarrow on the last row only because it is another color I have and I am attempting to picture everything in the garden. The last picture is a white lily but I don't know the name of the variety.
