Bryce National Park

Bryce Canyon
Bryce Canyon is a mysterious place, so different from any place I had ever been. It is a wonderland of rock formations called hoodoos, immense rock pillars and spires that have been carved into fantastic shapes by the forces of erosion. They reminded me of some ancient ornate cathedral.

We followed the scenic drive through the park, stopping at nearly every overlook, beginning with Sunset Point at 8000 feet with a fantastic view of an enormous amphitheater of rock formations.
