Amish Mules cutting hay
I was so excited when we saw this Amish farmer using these mules to cut hay. We were on our way to a place called Amish Village, which turned out to be mostly a tourist trap. But if we hadn't gone there, we would have missed this sight. We did learn quite a bit about Amish culture at the tourist village, which was quite interesting.

We found these sheep at an Amish farm that had been turned into an eatery. The Stoltzfus Farm Restaurant is still owned and operated by the Amish family who used to live in the house. The all-you-can-eat meals were served family-style and the menu listed twenty-four choices, included such items as chow-chow (pickled garden vegetables), potato filling (a mixture of mashed potatoes and bread dressing), and fresh shoo-fly pie. We learn that the restaurant raised their own food, including hogs for ham and home-made sausage. Chris said the ham loaf was wonderful. Being mostly vegetarian, I took her word for it. The piglets above were at the Amish Village. Perhaps they weren't real Amish pigs, but they were cute.
