THE BUTCHART GARDENS

Of Victoria, British Columbia

The Famous Butchart Gardens of Victoria

The famous Butchart Gardens in Victoria were a delight. All three of us are into gardening, but I was in absolute heaven there. I fell in love with the fuchsia. I've never had luck growing them myself. The peonies were wonderful, too. We heard ooing and awing in several languages as we joined the parade of international visitors walking the paths through the acres of beautiful flowers. Some of the loveliest spots were in the Oriental Garden area.
I like to take flower close-ups, and below is a sampling of the dozens of shots I took at the gardens.
